I was going to post about the way I've had to cook cheap lately, but instead wrote up a little submission for Plastic, and there's an ensuing discussion of how to eat well for cheap. Check it out.

Hey, I love your blog title. Orexia, that's great. I tried to tell Plastic about my cheap eats but I'm not signed in. One great dish is pasta e fagioli (aka pasta fasool) just pasta, dried beans a little bacon, onion, carrot, celery and garlic. Delicious and really filling. In the depression, Italian-American mayor of New York, Laguardia suggested this to families with too many mouths to feed.

I have found you on a site regarding homeless individuals.
I am seeking assistance for a 37 yr old man coming from Seattle who has been homeless for about 2 years in that he has lived in many places and most recently in a motor home, moving it around daily to avoid police attention. He worked in the food service industry for many years and recently has adapted his talents to include recycling of discarded items for money to live on. He has been advised that the Boise area is growing and could offer the possibility of jobs, and hopefully affordable housing while he 'comes back' from this chapter in his life.
IF you have any thoughts on how he should proceed if he comes to idaho or suggestions in general...it would be so very welcome.
Thank you for your time....
Shar Hawkins
